How to add Bates numbers
Lawyers, courts and auditors number every page of a set of documents with one running number, like ABC000001, so any page can be pointed to without doubt.
- Drop the PDFs on the box at the top.
- Put them in order with the arrows.
- Write what goes before and after the number, the first number and how many digits.
- Choose where it goes, its size and colour.
- Press Number and save. Several files come back in one zip.
The ranges
A table shows the first and last number of each file, which is what goes in the list of documents you send with them.
