About DocsFixer
A set of PDF tools that each do one job: put pages together and take them apart, change what is on them, sign, stamp, crop, compress, and convert to and from pictures. No account, no daily limit, no watermark of ours on your work.
Why nothing is uploaded
Every other site in this business works the same way: you hand your document to a server, it does the work there, and it hands something back. That means your contract, your bank statement or your passport scan sat on somebody else's machine, and you have only their word about what happened to it and for how long.
DocsFixer has no server that receives documents. The tools are written to run inside your own browser, using the same machinery your browser already uses to show you a PDF. Your file is opened in the page, worked on there, and saved back to your downloads.
How to check that, rather than believe it
Open this site, then turn your internet off - unplug the cable, switch on airplane mode, whatever is easiest. Now merge two PDFs. It works. Nothing can be uploaded by a page with no connection, so that one test settles the question in a way no promise on a website can.
What it means in practice
There is no waiting for a file to travel in each direction, so a large document is handled at the speed of your own machine. There is no upload limit, because there is no upload. There is no daily allowance, because nothing is being paid for per file. And a document nobody should see is seen by nobody.
The trade is honest: the work is done by your computer, so a very large job on a very old phone can run out of memory where a server farm would not have. In return you keep your documents.

Nothing. Because no server does the work, there is almost nothing to run, and the site is paid for by the advertising on it.
